Doctoral Researcher and Consultant
Seasoned marketing and renewable energy executive passionate about championing innovation, building systems and inspiring lives.

A researcher who’s spent as much time in boardrooms as in the archive.
I’m Michael — a doctoral student at Robert Gordon University, researching energy transition, hydrogen and applied AI. Alongside that, I work as a consultant, helping brands turn insight into demand and profit, and as a personal-leadership trainer, coaching leaders to lead themselves before they lead anyone else.
The thread running through everything is craft. Whether it’s a growth strategy for a challenger brand or a policy note for an energy client, the work has to hold up in a lecture theatre and move the needle on Monday morning.

I keep engagements small enough to do the thinking myself, and structured enough that the work outlives the conversation.
