Who I am
This website is operated by Michael Akintayo, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. You can contact me at m.akintayo@rgu.ac.uk.
What this site collects
This website does not set its own tracking cookies beyond those needed to run it and, where enabled, anonymous analytics. If you submit the contact form or email me, I will use your details only to respond to your enquiry.
Third-party services
Some pages embed or link to services run by other companies. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply:
- WPForms powers the contact form. Submissions are stored in this website and emailed to me so I can respond.
- Google Forms handles speaking enquiries. Information you submit is stored by Google and shared with me.
- YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode, which means YouTube does not store information about you unless you play a video.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on this site.
- Selar processes book and resource purchases.
- Substack, Medium and social networks are linked from this site and operate under their own terms.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. To exercise any of these rights, email m.akintayo@rgu.ac.uk.
